Human Development Index rating of Russia’s regions
The UN Human Development Index (HDI) is a summary composite index that measures a country's average achievements in three basic aspects of human development: longevity, knowledge, and standard of living. HDI divides countries into four groups:
1 - 0.784 (Very High)
0.677 – 0.784 (High)
0.488 – 0.676 (Medium)
0.488 - 0 (Low)
The Human Development Index (HDI) consists of components:
• standard of living as measured by the gross regional product in purchasing power parity US dollars;
• education as measured by the adult literacy rate and the gross enrolment ration among children and young people between the ages of 6 and 23;
• life expectancy.
