I recycle about half of the food packaging I use. Another thing that contributes...the increase in web retailing (Amazon) may contribute to an increase in cardboard packaging waste due to the large number of small parcel deliveries. As the rest of the world gets more affluent te problem will change. Perhaps we will figure out ways to reuse more. Interesting viz.
