New York City Population by Boroughs

New York is the most populous city in the United States, more than twice the size of the second largest city, Los Angeles.

In the period from 2000 to 2010 all five of New York's boroughs saw growth:

  • Staten Island 5.6%
  • The Bronx 3.9%
  • Manhattan 3.2%
  • Brooklyn 1.6%
  • Queens 0.1%

Differences in price levels for food, beverages and tobacco across Europe

Eurostat published Comparative price levels for food, beverages and tobacco.

Denmark had the highest price level for food in the EU27 in 2012, at 139% of the EU27 average, followed by Sweden (124%). The lowest price levels were observed in Poland (60%) and Romania.
